The Free Cheerleading & Life Skills Camp is one of Youth Lifeline America's premier programs. This award-winning camp uniquely combines athletics and entertainment with life skills training to enhance the success rates of America's high school population.
This nationally recognized camp utilizes current National Football League cheerleaders, celebrities and business professionals to educate and inspire camp participants.
Scholarships to the Free Cheerleading & Life Skills Camp are distributed through recommendations from youth serving organizations, teachers, coaches and individuals who work with youth in each camp market. Participation in the Free Cheerleading & Life Skills Camp is limited to 9th and 10th grade students only.
The educational portion of this camp features comprehensive life skills training facilitated by specialists in each highlighted category.
Administered with an approachable but disciplined approach, life skill elements include:

- Financial Literacy
- Goal Achievement Strategies
- Health/Nutrition
- Leadership Skills
- Team Building
In addition, camp participants receive free t-shirts, classroom supplies, daily meals, snacks, and a host of other gifts.
Consistent with all Youth Lifeline America programming, the Free Cheerleading & Life Skills Camp takes pride in achieving quantifiable success rates during each camp. Through the administration of its Life Skills Competency Test (LSCT) before and after program participation, success rates are immediately identified upon conclusion of each camp.
Since 2000, LSCT Pre-Camp average pass rates have been a dismal 17%. Following participation in the Life Skills Camp, Post-Camp average pass rates improved to an astonishing 98% following participation.
When tested one year following participation, 78% of participants maintained their passing grades on the LSCT.
